Well, 2.10 is not a beta release. But even for the upcoming 3 version
there is already a branch as well. It is just not up to date and that is a
pity.

I don't mind of you tell me, but I often get multiple reports about the
same new release and if everyone was keeping freshmeat up to date that
overhead would be eliminated :)
