[tools] createrepo after mrepo?

Thanks for the reply Dag.  I realize this is a pretty ambiguous issue,
it was just the fact that I'd seen an earlier post referencing a
similar problem that prompted me to throw this out here.

Most likely the week after Christmas here I will have some free time at
work to dig into this and test in a proper way instead of just feeding
you a bunch of information that no real troubleshooting can be done
with. :)
