That's a great list.  I'd encourage you to send patches to Dag.

I'd like to add my rather general request that mrepo be a little
more chatty especially about warnings and errors.  It'd even be
nice to error out on exceptions; it would make the program
more comprehensible.

Sorry there's not more detail, but I remember for some particular
error, even running yam with about four vs (-vvvv) didn't show
the error it was hitting.
