[tools] mrepo installation on RHEL5

Hi all,

Does anyone have or know of a good document explaining how to install
mrepo on RHEL5 to update only other RHEL5 servers?

I've read through previous messages in this list, and found some bits
and pieces of information on forums and so on, but those have just
confused me more than they actually helped.

I've noticed that there's an mrepo rpm package on Dag's site for RHEL5,
but when I install that I just get an empty /var/www/mrepo directory, to
which mrepo.conf points. I'm pretty sure that wasn't the case when
installing mrepo on RHEL3? Anyway - can I actually use that rpm on
RHEL5, or do I need to use the subversion code like Dag said in an
earlier response, which was:
"the work-around is to dump the EL4 up2date code from /usr/share/rhn/ on
EL5 at /usr/share/mrepo/rhn/ (and use the subversion code which looks
there first)"?

Please help.

Thanks.

Johan
