I have been working on setting up mrepo for the past few days based on
some of the scattered documentation found on google. I have yet to find
a solution to one issue, which I'm hoping can be resolved here.
[root at repo ~]# mrepo -uvvv
Verbosity set to level 3
Using configfile /etc/mrepo.conf
Reading config file /etc/mrepo.conf
Setting option confdir in section [main] to: /etc/mrepo.conf.d
Setting option srcdir in section [main] to: /var/ftp/pub
Setting option wwwdir in section [main] to: /var/www/mrepo
Setting option mailto in section [main] to: root at repo
Setting option smtp-server in section [main] to: localhost
Setting option arch in section [main] to: i386
rhel5-i386: Updating Red Hat 5.2 Server (i386)
rhel5-i386: Mirror packages from rhn:///rhel-i386-server-5 to
/var/ftp/pub/rhel5-i386/updates
rhnget: cannot import name xmlrpclib
mrepo: Mirroring failed for rhn:///rhel-i386-server-5 with message:
Failed with return code: 256
I am running CentOS 5.2 x86_64 as the platform. I have copied the
systemid and RHNSA-CA-CERT from a rhel5.2 i386 machine into the
appropriate locations.
also, note that I had to install the pyOpenSSL package to resolve an
earlier issue.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can resolve this issue? I will
eventually need to be mirroring rhel/centos 3.9, 4.7 & 5.2, but I can't
even get 5.2 working yet.
thanks in advance,
christer
