[users] flash-plugin x86_64 el4

hello,

Getting tired of upgrading fedora yearly, so I've decided to try CentOS 
4.4 x86_64 on my new PC based on a Core 2 duo.
This is my first 64-bit machine, so the following may be obvious, but...
Can I install i386 packages?
I think the answer is yes, but then: can this be done via synaptic/apt?

For example, flash-plugin is only available as el4.rf.i386.rpm, so it 
doesn't show up in my synaptic (using the repo from 
rpmforge-release-0.3.4-1.el4.rf.x86_64.rpm).
