You mean like, the kind of coordination _you_ exhibited when you started
packaging fftw version 3.* with package name fftw, when in virtually all
other repositories (also Debian, fink, etc) that package name is
reserved for fftw version 2.*? When questioned about it your response at
the time was "it's my way or the hiway", and even if you later
apologized for that arrogant remark, you still continue your evil ways,
and left your repo incompatible with RPMforge.

I don't hold a grudge against you, Rex, but I could not resist to
demonstrate how hard cooperation really is. You chose to provide fftw
like you do to remain compatible with Fedora Extras. So unless you are
_really_ committed to cooperation, the EPEL procedure/policy will just
remain: words. I understand Dag is annoyed with EPEL, since
Dag/Dries/Mathias/RPMforge have been in the "repo-business" for years,
there is a large number of subscribers, yet Dag met arrogance and
besser-wissen on EPEL's mailing list.
