I know about Synaptic, but I don't run X11 on my servers. Plus there  
are similar apps for yum, although I have to admit they are not as  
polished.

These mirror problems are not enough to get me to use another package  
manager than yum on CentOS. Would I have to use two package managers  
to get both RPMforge and CentOS updates or are there also apt  
repositories available for the official CentOS channels?
