Yes you're right, that is another option but I prefer not to do this as clamd
then scans all inbound and outbound files to the server, which is not what I
want. I only want it to scan mail which MailScanner handles.

After I sent the email above, I went to cpan and emailed the author of
Mail::ClamAV and he responded almost immediately with:

So I think I'll just wait until he makes an update, then wait for an RPMforge
update.
