  And one idea :). Maybe it would be useful to add "#exclude=xxxx" line to 
/etc/yum.repos.d/rpmforge.repo ? Yes. Commented out exclude of all the 
packages which exists in distribution. Like rsync, syslinux, lftp, etc.
