[users] yum update overwrites RedHat rpms with rpmforge rpms

You mean something like:
[Postgrey]
name=Postgrey Repository
baseurl=http://www.lfarkas.org/linux/packages/centos-$releasever/$basearch/
gpgcheck=0
enabled=0
#exclude=*
includepkgs=postgrey
