Here are some specifics, in case they help --

	[root at host ~]# l /dev/cd* /dev/dvd*
	lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 3 Feb 17 09:29 /dev/cdrom -> hdc
	lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 3 Feb 17 09:29 /dev/cdwriter -> hdc
	lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root 3 Feb 17 09:29 /dev/dvd -> hdc

	[root at host ~]# pktsetup /dev/pktcdvd0 /dev/sr0
	open cd-rom: No such file or directory

	[root at host ~]# pktsetup /dev/pkt-test /dev/hdc
	ioctl: Inappropriate ioctl for device

I fear that I'm doing something stupid or missing something obvious
here...
