Now that I have written a script that almost fully automates creating the 
packages, I'm looking at people's request on this list. So expect a 
perl-Catalyst package soon.

We do replace some packages, but with the yum protectbase plugin you can 
mitigate any risks. The reason why we sometimes decide to replace 
packages is because existing packages are pretty dated.

But the number of packages are limited and a Rationale is provided in the 
SPEC file.
