I was thinking and reading about using Avidemux today and I came to 
rpmforge and saw here

that the latest version is only 0.9

But there is

Which is at 2.0

The home page for avidemux is listing 2.4 which was released 2007-12-23

Would it be possible to get a newer version especially for Fedora 7 or 
higher?

I have used this tool in the past and thought that development was stopped.
