Correct. The newer versions are from the development branch and therefor I
do not consider them stable. They might be, but as long as the developers
themselves consider it a development branch, why should I as a packager
doubt them ? :)

So if you would like a new stable release, I suggest you take this up with
the developers.
Tagging them as 'test' instead of 'rf' is for me a simple way to make them
available but not from the repository.
