Alle,

I have installed ntop V3.3 from the repo on RHEL5.1. Am running with
this command line:

ntop -d -L @/etc/ntop.conf

ntop runs for a while with the following sporadic errors then the web
interface becomes unavailable:

Mar 26 08:49:21 rb3 ntop[12903]: warning: can't get client address: Bad
file descriptor
Mar 26 08:49:21 rb3 ntop[12903]: **ERROR** SSL(read)ERROR [Thread
12903]: error:140940E5:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:ssl handshake
failure at s3_pkt.c(838)

The daemon is still running, but web access is not possible. I have
found posts about this being an issues with V3.2, tcp_wrappers and SSL,
but also that it had been fixed in V3.3.

The machine's primary function is a snortd server. Can anyone shed some
light on this?

Best Regards,
Camron
